Trailer for G-Dragon’s Shine a Light Concert theater premiere revealed

A few days ago, allkpop revealed that Big Bang leader G-Dragon’s Shine a Light concert had been adapted for a big screen premiere on big screens across Korea. It’s been confirmed that this adaptation will be shown in CGV theaters (the largest multiplex cinema chain of Korea) in five cities next Thursday on April 15.

Meanwhile, preorders for the official DVD of the concert began on April 6 and will run til April 19; you can preorder your own copy on YG Entertainment’s online shop as well as other online album shots for 35,000 won (~$30 USD). The DVD will be released on April 20 in two versions, a 12+ edition and 15+ edition. Furthermore, each version includes two discs – the first covers the concert performances, and the second reveals behind-the-scenes footage as well as the complete Jiyong & Seungri’s Peeping Life and its BTS footage.

G-Dragon releases Heartbreaker featuring Flo Rida

Back in August, Big Bang leader G-Dragon released his highly anticipated debut album Heartbreaker. Although the album was highly successful with sales of over 120,000 copies, there was some controversy with accusations of plagiarism. More specifically accusations that the title track Heartbreaker sounded a bit like Flo Rida’s hit track Right Round. Well this should put all the plagiarism accusations to rest.
When the tracklist for G-Dragon’s Shine A Light concert album was made public, it was revealed that Flo Rida would be featured in a special version of Heartbreaker on the 2nd CD. Now, the album has been released and it’s already on top of the Hanteo charts. The Heartbreaker track featuring Flo Rida is hot, check it out below. Thanks to jenpooable for the tip.

A screen capture from an Inkigayo episode has been making it’s round on forums in Korea and generating interest.


As you can see from the screencap above, it’s one taken from an Inkigayo episode where Big Bang’s G-Dragon won a Mutizen award for his Heartbreaker song.

What caught the eye however was the height of each individual person being specified in the screencap, and the height value was obtained from Korean portal sides of their profile information. But one funny point was that even though G-Dragon is listed as being 177cm tall and the female MC, Ha Yeon Joo at 171cm tall, the both of them looked like they were of equal height.
Some netizens felt suspicious and wondered if G-Dragon was really 177cm while others defended G-Dragon saying that Ha Yeon Joo probably wore high heels on that day. But then again, the height disparity between Wooyoung who is just 1cm taller than G-Dragon looks to be more than that, unless someone is wearing shoe lifts.
